General Information

About the CSA:                                                                                                                            In the past four years, the Chatfield CSA has grown a total of 129,388 pounds of produce. OVER 4 tons (9,879 lbs.) has been donated to local NON-PROFIT organizations. The Chatfield CSA offers classes, an expanded volunteer program and additional products at distribution and events taking place at both Denver Botanic Gardens at York st. and Chatfield.  Our produce is distributed at two locations: Chatfield has a Thursday pick up and our York st. Denver Botanic Gardens location is every Tuesday. We offer a market style distribution so members have the option of choosing the produce they like and leaving what they can't or won't use. We also feature locally produced items for sale on an individual basis and also offer a whole season share. It is our goal to offer our shareholders as many locally sourced food options as possible but also to support other small farmers and local producers.

Every season we have a group of working shareholders who get a reduced price share in exchange for working a few hours weekly throughout the summer. Our Veteran Reintegration Program is expanding this summer as well, providing opportunities to veterans to build job skills and providing therapeutic opportunities in a natural setting.
